A
Dinner featuring the wines of

with John Bookwalter
Located
in the Heart of the Columbia Valley, Bookwalter Winery has been
producing small lots of high quality wine since 1983. With the addition
of Zelma Long as consultant winemaker in 2000, Bookwalter continues to
"push the envelope" in producing some of the most profound wines
available in Washington State.
Jerry Bookwalter graduated from University of California-Davis in
viticulture, and in 1976 came to Washington with his wife Jean, to join
the fledgling wine grape industry. He has been managing vineyards and
making wine in Washington State since 1976 and concentrates his efforts
in the vineyards.
John Bookwalter
joined the family winery in 1997, bringing 10 years of marketing
experience including E & J Gallo, Winterbrook Beverage and Coors
Brewing. John focuses on the vineyards and red wine production. John is
the 10th American generation of Bookwalters to be involved in and
around agriculture and has focused his attention primarily on the
production of ultra premium red wines.
