UNDERSTANDING WINE
The Society’s purpose is to promote the enjoyment of American wines as well as to enlighten its members and guests on all aspects of this wonderful product. The amazing juice that our senses enjoy is only part of the “wine experience”. This event will be an opportunity to learn the basics of wine appreciation and something about the history of American wine. This educational evening with fine wine will answer all your questions about your favourite beverage and more!
If there is something you have always wondered about, fill in the box on the reservation form and we will do our best to find the answer for you.
We value your input and will prepare an evening focusing on your questions.
Wine appreciation is a pursuit that one can never learn enough about!
This event will be lead by one of the Society’s most knowledgeable members and engaging speakers.
Past President & Cellar Master
Douglas Russell

The event will run 2 - 2½ hours and is limited to 50 members and guests.
There will be a number of major varietals of different vintages to taste and
compare during the evening. Prepare yourself for the spring lineup of festivals and tastings.  Acquire the knowledge to impress family and friends!
